FAQ
Eighteen questions, answered straight.
The questions every Utah buyer asks before hiring an auction-access service — and the answers we give on every call.
FAQ
Process
- Two to six weeks from first call to keys. Two weeks is a common trim already in upcoming wholesale auction inventory. Six is a narrow spec that takes 3–4 sales to clear.
- Yes. You approve every VIN before we bid. You see the auction condition report, MMR, and local retail comps for that specific unit.
FAQ
Pricing
- A percentage fee rewards the agent for pushing you into a more expensive car. Flat fee doesn't. Same paperwork on a $22k Corolla or a $68k Tahoe.
- Yes. The fee is charged at winning bid only. Three failed bids = full refund of any deposit.
FAQ
Safety
- Dealer-network franchise trade-ins are the same vehicles that stock every Utah new-car dealer's used lot. Condition reports, clean titles, real histories. We never touch Copart or IAA salvage.
- The auction's 5-day arbitration window covers undisclosed conditions. We walk you through the claim if anything slips through the CR.
FAQ
Legal & title
- The auction releases the title to DealerKey Auto. We handle the Utah MVED transfer and issue the title in your name at delivery. You never touch the auction-side paperwork.
- We deliver to ID, WY, NV, AZ. Sales tax is collected in your state. Add 1–2 weeks to the timeline for inter-state DMV coordination.
